Most period properties have stone windows cills, heads and architraves. Over the years stone was found to be expensive and of short supply, because of transportation costs. Plasterers started to run insitu artificial stonework and castings of fine washed sands and limes to create the perfect artificial stone. Master Plaster is able to carry out and complete renovation or producing modern mouldings to the customer’s specifications.

Restoration Plastering
Master plaster have vast experience in restoration of period properties and can provide a number of traditional plastering techniques to restore your property to its former glory. We use techniques such as replacing wooden lathes, horse hair, sand and lime finishes, through to structural finishes like wattle and daub. We can take a sample of your existing material and analyse it to find the correct mix proportions to match your existing plasterwork.
